As part of Open House Miami, meet and greet New York architect David Gauld who will give an illustrated talk and tour about The Bass building, the jewel of Miami Beach’s Art Deco district, and its transformation over the years.
Gauld was the architect of the 2017 expansion of The Bass and worked with Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Arata Isozaki for the previous expansion in the late 1990’s.
Join The Bass and Gauld for an in-depth overview of the approach and process that led to the new dynamic space that is enjoyed by thousands of visitors today.
